ABOUT ME

My work as a vocal coach is informed by my extensive work as a professional singer, arranger and Musical Director. This gives me an understanding of the demands on performers today; emotionally, physically and technically.

VOCAL COACH

I have been working as a vocal coach for the last 8 years and have been lucky to work with many outstanding individuals and companies. My work includes MadAboutTheVoice Ltd/Joshua Alamu, Ultimate Artists, RAYE, Stefflon Don, Raksu, Later...with Jools Holland, Brits Awards, Britains Got More Talent, Silverseas Ltd, Metro Bank, Emily Cardno Management. I have a passion for the voice and love teaching!

MUSICAL DIRECTOR AND VOCAL ARRANGER

I am a freelance Musical Director and Vocal Arranger who has worked in the entertainment and music industries. My arrangements are currently being performed on Silversea Luxury Cruiseline, as well as being performed by choirs across the UK. Within the last two year, I have created 15 themed production shows, covering themes from Opera to Irish Folk to Contemporary Pop and winning “Best Entertainment on a Cruise Liner” by the CruiseCritic.com Awards on both years. I pride myself in building interesting arrangements for all levels, from artists performing at a world-class level to beginner singers. I believe that a great vocal arrangement caters to the vocalist, allowing them to showcase their voice at its best and achieve their best possible performance.

The show stopper was without doubt Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good”. It began with a whisper and rose to a crescendo (as it should), giving me and everyone else in the audience goosebumps.

PERFORMER

I began my career as a performer touring the UK and working on the West End as a singer and musician in the Olivier Nominated Musical Dreamboats and Petticoats. Since then I have have continued to work as a performer both in UK Theatre and as an actress in TV (Holby City, Getting On) and although my work now centres around vocal tuition, you can still often find me singing in the London Jazz scene.
